FAQ

Answers before you ask.

The questions agencies and business owners ask most about working with me: white-label rules, prices, timelines, migrations and care after launch. Can't find yours? Email hello@piash.net and I'll reply within one working day.

01Working together

The
basics.

What do you do?

I build, fix and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce sites. Most of my work is white-label development for agencies, and the rest is building and looking after sites for small businesses.

Who do you work with?

Digital agencies and designers worldwide who need a senior WordPress developer, and small business owners who want a fast site and someone to look after it. I've freelanced since 2012 and completed 800+ projects on Upwork.

Which builders and tools do you use?

Divi (including Divi 5), Elementor, Gutenberg, ACF and WooCommerce, plus custom themes and plugins. Agencies don't need to change their stack to work with me.

Can you build from my Figma file?

Yes. Figma, XD, PSD, Sketch, flat images or a reference site all work.

Do you redesign existing sites?

Yes. Redesigns and rebuilds are some of my most requested work.

How do we get started?

Send a brief through the start-a-project form, or book a 15-minute call. You get questions and a fixed quote in writing before any work starts.

02For agencies

White-label
rules.

What is white-label WordPress development?

You sell the site under your agency's name and I build it behind the scenes. I sign an NDA and never contact your client.

Will you ever contact my client?

No. I only talk to you and your team, unless you ask me to join a call under your agency's name.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before any work starts. Send your NDA or use mine.

Can you work inside our tools?

Yes. Your Slack, your project board and your staging environment.

How does the $99 pilot work?

You send one real ticket. I spend up to 3 hours on it and deliver within 48 hours. If it's not a fit, there's nothing else to buy.

Can I resell your care plans?

Yes. Care is $29 a site a month, resold under your brand at your own price.

03Pricing

Money
questions.

How much does it cost?

For agencies: a pilot task is $99, pages start at $249, full white-label sites at $990 and retainers at $560 a month. Business projects get a fixed quote after a free audit.

Are your quotes fixed?

Yes. Every project gets a written scope, timeline and price before work starts.

What if the scope changes mid-project?

New requests get a separate quote before I start on them, so the original price never quietly grows.

Why don't you list business prices?

Business sites vary too much for one number to be honest. The free audit lets me quote what you actually need.

Why is the pilot task only $99?

It's the lowest-risk way for an agency to test how I work on a real ticket before committing to bigger jobs.

04Builds

Timelines and
handover.

How long does a WordPress site take?

A standard 5-page site takes 7 to 10 working days. Complex or WooCommerce sites take 2 to 4 weeks.

Which page builder should I choose?

If you'll edit the site yourself, Divi 5 or Elementor are easiest. For speed and long-term flexibility, Gutenberg with ACF is lighter. I'll recommend one based on your team.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Yes. Content is set up so you can update text, images and pages without touching code.

Will my site be fast?

Speed is part of every build: optimised images, caching and no plugins you don't need. Core Web Vitals are checked before launch.

Which payment gateways do you set up for stores?

Stripe, PayPal, Square and most gateways that offer a WooCommerce plugin. Every payment method is tested with test orders before launch.

05Migrations

Moving
platforms.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Not if redirects are done right. Every old URL gets a 301 redirect to its new page, and SEO titles and descriptions move with the content.

Will my store go offline during the move?

No. Your Shopify store keeps selling while the new store is built and tested on staging.

Do customer passwords transfer from Shopify?

Passwords can't be exported from Shopify, so customers set a new one on their first login. Their accounts and order history are kept.

Can you migrate from Wix, Squarespace or Webflow?

Yes. The same process works for Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Joomla and other platforms.

06Care and support

After
launch.

What happens after launch?

Bugs from my work get fixed, even weeks later. Monthly care plans cover updates, backups and small edits.

Why does a WordPress site need maintenance?

Plugins, themes and WordPress itself release updates for security and compatibility. Skipping them is the most common way sites get hacked or break.

Do you test updates before applying them?

Yes. Backups run first, and larger updates are checked on staging before they reach your live site.

What happens if my site goes down?

Uptime monitoring alerts me, and I start fixing it straight away, restoring from backup if needed.

Can you take over a site someone else built?

Yes. It starts with a free audit so I know what I'm looking after.

Is the website audit really free?

Yes. No card, no commitment. If you want help fixing what it finds, I'll send a fixed quote.

Still
wondering?

Ask me directly. A 15-minute call or a short email usually answers it.
