Privacy policy.
What I collect when you use piash.net, why I collect it, and how to get it changed or deleted. Short version: only what you send me, used only to reply and do the work.

Who I am
piash.net is run by Md. Abu Jubaer Piash, a freelance WordPress developer based in Bangladesh. When this policy says "I", "me" or "my", it means me. You can reach me about anything in this policy at hello@piash.net.
What I collect
Information you send me. When you fill in the project form or the free audit form, I receive what you type: your name, email address, WhatsApp number if you add one, your website URL, and the details of your project or question.
Emails and calls. If you email me or book a call, I keep that conversation so I can reply and keep track of the work.
Technical data. Like every website, the server logs basic request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
I don't run advertising trackers and I don't sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote or audit.
- To plan, deliver and support the work you hire me for.
- To send invoices and keep the records the law requires.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
I only email you about your own enquiry or project. There's no newsletter unless you sign up for one separately.
Legal basis
If you're in the UK or EU, I process your data because you asked me to (taking steps before a contract), to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations such as accounting, and for my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Services I rely on
A few trusted providers help run the site and my work. They only get what they need to do their job:
- Hosting and security: the site is hosted on Hostinger and served through Cloudflare, which see request data such as your IP address.
- Email: form notifications and replies go through my email provider.
- Scheduling: if you book a call, TidyCal processes your name, email and chosen time.
- Fonts and scripts: some files may be delivered from third-party networks such as Google Fonts, which receive your IP address to serve them.
Some of these providers store data outside your country. Where that happens, they use standard safeguards for international transfers.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as security and form cookies. No advertising cookies. If I add analytics in the future, I'll update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted within 12 months. Project records and invoices are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.
Client sites and white-label work
When I work on a website for you or for your clients, any personal data inside that site stays yours. I only access it to do the work you asked for, I don't copy it for other use, and I'm happy to sign your NDA or data processing agreement.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@piash.net and I'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, is kept updated and is monitored. No method is perfect, but I take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will be clearly noted here.
