Terms of service.
How working with me works: quotes, payment, ownership, confidentiality and support. If a signed agreement or statement of work says something different, that document wins.

1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply to the services provided by Md. Abu Jubaer Piash ("I", "me") through piash.net to agencies and businesses ("you"). By hiring me or using this site, you agree to them.
2. Services
I design, build, migrate, fix and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites, either for you directly or as a white-label developer for your agency. The exact work, deliverables and timeline for each project are set out in the quote or task brief we agree before work starts.
3. Quotes and pricing
- Agency prices listed on this site are starting prices. The final price depends on the brief and is confirmed in writing before work begins.
- Business projects get a fixed written quote, usually after a free website audit.
- Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before I start it.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days.
4. Payment
- Pilot tasks and small jobs are paid upfront.
- Larger projects are usually paid 50% to start and 50% before launch or handover, unless we agree a different schedule in writing.
- Monthly retainers and care plans are billed in advance each month.
- Invoices are due within 7 days. I may pause work on overdue accounts.
5. Your responsibilities
You'll provide content, designs, logins and feedback on time, and you confirm you have the right to use any text, images, fonts or code you give me. Delays in getting these to me can move the delivery date.
6. Revisions and approval
Each project includes the revision rounds stated in the quote. Once you approve a deliverable or the site goes live, further changes are treated as new work.
7. Ownership
When the project is paid in full, you own the custom work I made for it. Third-party themes, plugins and services stay under their own licences, and you're responsible for renewing any premium licences after handover. I may reuse general techniques and non-client-specific code snippets.
8. White-label and confidentiality
- For agency work, I work under your brand. I won't contact your clients unless you ask me to, and I won't claim the work publicly.
- I keep your business details, client details and project files confidential, and I'm happy to sign your NDA before kickoff.
- I only show white-label work in my portfolio without client details, or not at all if you prefer.
9. Support and bug fixes
Bugs in my work that you report within 30 days of launch are fixed free of charge. After that, fixes and updates are covered by a care plan or billed as new work. Problems caused by later changes, third-party updates or hosting issues outside my control aren't covered by the free fix period.
10. Care plans and retainers
Care plans and retainers run month to month. Either side can cancel with 30 days' written notice. Unused retainer hours don't roll over unless agreed in writing.
11. Hosting, backups and access
Unless your care plan says otherwise, you're responsible for your hosting account and for keeping your own backups. I always work on staging or take a backup before major changes. Please change any passwords you shared with me once the project ends.
12. Cancellation
You can cancel a project at any time in writing. You'll pay for the work done up to that point, and any upfront payment covers work already completed. I may end a project if invoices go unpaid or if the work would break the law.
13. Limitation of liability
I take care with every project, but websites depend on many things outside my control. To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me for the work in question, and I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. We'll always try to settle any disagreement by talking first.
15. Changes and contact
I may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your project is the one in place when you accepted the quote. Questions? Email hello@piash.net.
